singular noun CHORE
often means difficult or unpleasant tasks

doing taxes
CHOREと単数形の場合は、面倒な、退屈な、気の進まない仕事を意味する。（書類集め、記帳など）


under a year old＝1歳未満　日本語ではゼロ歳
英語では1歳未満、生後6ヵ月とか10か月というふうに言って、ゼロ歳というフレーズは使わない。
zero years old ゼロの場合もyearsと複数形を使う。
単数形を使うのは１だけ。
１以外は複数形を使う。
